Meet Lisa Valerie Morgan
Lisa Valerie Morgan is an award winning Actress/Writer/Producer, turned Fashion Blogger and Stylist. After a lifetime in Los Angeles, Lisa made the move to Dallas in 2021 where she is currently remodeling her dream home and raising a darling mini Goldendoodle named Charlie Cupcake.
Born in Hollywood, California, Lisa holds a degree in screenwriting and studied acting under Aaron Speiser, Jeff Goldblum, Jeanie Hackett, Dakin Matthews, Bob Corff and UCB Improv. She is the writer, creator and star of The Fash Life Series, a new comedic talk show where real life fashion bloggers act alongside their hilarious fictional counterparts. This fun new show is directed by 2016 Project Greenlight and Los Angeles Emmy Winner Rebecca Hu. Think SNL with Bloggers… #unfiltered and #IRL. The series has played in film festivals across the globe picking up numerous awards along the way. Highlights include London Fashion Film Festival (Best Fashion Episode), New Media Film Festival (Best Web Series), First Glance Film Festival (Best Ensemble Cast).
Lisa has worked on stage and screen opposite Carolyn Hennesy, Armin Shimerman, Jeffrey Nordling, Tessa Thompson, Greg Itzin, Ashley Bell, Cara Santana, Travis Schuldt, Lawrence Pressman and Marguerite Moreau. She holds a degree in Screenwriting from California State University, Northridge and wrote and produced the short film The Food Chain: A Hollywood Scarytale starring James Black, Lisa Robin Kelly, Pooch Hall and Ron Rogge’. She is also a critically acclaimed theater producer. Her last two productions were nominated for eight LA Stage Alliance Ovation Awards including Best Production Intimate Theatre.
Lisa is the editor and creator of the Fashion and Lifestyle Blog Pretty Little Shoppers, where she writes about fashion, beauty, organic food, home decor and travel. She has a growing social media following over 70k and her blog has been viewed in over 100 countries. She regularly collaborates with fashion and beauty brands and has been featured on a myriad of International style pages including Vogue Italia. Lisa also works as a freelance stylist, working with celebrities including Angel Parker, the McBride Sisters and Sydney Park. She currently works part time as an in house stylist at Neiman Marcus, where her clients include some of the most prestigious and fashionable women in the greater Dallas area and beyond.
When not busy acting, writing or shopping (for herself and her clients), Lisa loves to meditate, cook organic nutrient dense meals, read books on fashion, thrillers & historical fiction and travel. She recently finished phase one of the Interior Design of her Dallas Hollywood Regency style home and can talk for hours about crown moulding, tiles and wallpaper. She is documenting the before and after of this ongoing project on her blog and social media pages.
